The Nikon F90X was built as a semi-pro camera but was used by some professionals under certain circumstances. This was because of the comparably fast autofocus the camera featured. With the AF type lenses autofocus was quick and accurate. Especially compared to its older counterparts the autofocus worked exceptionally well. The older AI and AI-S lenses can also be fitted to the body but do not share the autofocus capability. This camera is a perfect fit for a more experienced analoge shooter. For the less advanced shooter the many option the camera provides might be a bit overwhelming but with trial, error and the help of the internet are easy to overcome.
The Nikon has no lens. However, this is not an issue. There are many Nikon F-mount lenses out there that fit this body. This enables you to make build the camera exactly to your needs.
