Nikonos IV-A + 35mm f/2.5 details
The Nikonos IV-A is a one of a kind underwater camera. The camera is the second to last version of the series of Nikonos and for its age it is in great condition. The O-rings that keep it watertight are also still functional making this a great water sports camera. Most of the Nikonos lenses where designed to only work when under water. This 35mm f/2.5 works as well above water as it does underwater. Focussing the camera can be a bit tricky because it uses a zone focus system. Therefore we recommend using a high ISO film and stopping down the lens in order get a deep dept of field.
- The camera has been tested and is working.
- Light seals are good.
- Shutter is ok.
- Basic cleaning is done.
- Technically the body is good.
- Lens in perfect working condition.
