The Nikon FA was designed to be a high end, mid range consumer grade camera. What Nikon could not know at the time is the powerhouse this little camera actually is. The body is fully metallic and feels great in the hand with a nice weight. The camera features many great options. It was the first camera to feature all the modern PASM modes. These being programmed autoexposure, Aperture Priority, Shutter priority, and fully Manual. This was obviously groundbreaking and created great advances in the realm of photography.
