The Nikon F2 was introduced in September 1971, as a successor to the Nikon F. The F2 is faster than its little brother, the shutter release button is placed in such a way that it is easier to operate and there is a wide range of detachable metering buttons and finders available for the camera. The Nikon F2 is made in two colors: black and chrome.
The MD-3 makes it possible to shoot 2.5 frames per second in combination with the standard MB-2 battery pack.
