Redscaling is a technique where film is loaded in with the non emulsion side towards the lens. This sounds complicated (and to be honest it is) it means the light hits the backside of the film instead of the front. The effect this has is different per film but usually creates a red hue in the image. Very cool for creative applications.

This redscale film is very warm. It creates orange and red hues with occasional turquoise tones. Perfect to warm up an overcast day or to show how warm that and perfect that one summer night was was. The push and pull on this film is very flexible. With every choice you make the character of the film changes. More or less light on the film changes the contrast, grain and sharpness in the image.
