Kodak Portra 160 is the finest grain of the three Portra’s, the film’s low ISO makes it great for daylight shooting, and its warmth makes it ideal for portraiture.
Kodak Portra 160 Film features a significantly finer grain structure than Portra 400 and 800 for improved scanning and enlargement, while retaining the exceptionally smooth and natural skin tone reproduction that the Portra film family is renowned for. Portra 160 has no evident tint (like vivid red tones or bright green-blue) and the colours are very accurate.

Portra 160 film is the ideal choice for portrait, fashion and commercial photography, either in the studio, or on location. If you are planning to be shooting something that is colourful and sunny, then this is your go-to.
This film has superb exposure latitude which means it does well with overexposure. This is great for landscapes and architecture. Having ISO 160, it can be used during the overcast and even evening or early morning time.
It has medium contrast and low saturation making a great alternative to the more saturated Ektar 100.
