At the time the smallest autowind 35mm camera on the market the Contax 137MD Quartz is still a handy size for its power. The autowind automatically advances the film after every shot and the automatic metering provides the proper shutter speed with the aperture chosen by the operator. This makes the camera very easy to use and incredibly versatile for the beginner photographer. This camera is body only but a lens is easily found. This body is best for beginning analoge users who want to try their hand at film photography. The camera is easy to use and fairly intuitive. The lens selection is big, cheap and readily availably so when you want to try out a different style the lenses will be there to help achieve that.
