The Canon F-1 the first FD mount camera, still a heavyweight today.
no VAT on pre-owned products.
This Canon F-1 body was developed for endurance and extreme temperatures back in 1971. The operating manual states the body was built to withstand temperatures of -30C and 60C. You can still feel this durability when holding the camera today. It feels like a tool that wants to be used. The reason for this is because it had to compete with other high end cameras made by the competitor Nikon. The F-1 was Canon’s answer to the very popular Nikon F and F2.
Because of the durability and quality of there FD-mount lenses many of them are still on the market today. This makes it easy for analoge Canon shooters to change styles by switching lenses, all this for a very decent price. This enables the user of the Canon F-1 to be as versatile in shooting as they desire. The lens on this camera is the trusted 35mm. A great lens for portraits and street photography. Also, the camera has an internal light meter which enables the user to get their pictures exposed properly.
We recommend this body to someone who has a little bit more experience shooting film.
