The Canon Eos-1n was first introduced near the end of 1994. The camera offers five focusing points which can be selected automatically or manually. In the predictive AI Servo AF mode, the wide focusing area makes it easier to focus track moving subjects. You’ll never miss capturing a shot, as this SLR film camera can click up to 6 frame/seconds when used with a motor drive.
The Vertical-travel, focal-plane electronic shutter with metal curtains can reach shutter speed between 30 sec. – 1/8000 sec. Shutter speed can be set in 1/3-stop increments. The camera contains a built-in electronic self-timer (with countdown indicator on LCD panel). Exposures can be compensated in 1/2-stop or 1/3-stop increments for higher precision.
Every EF lens made from 1987 until today will work on the 1N. So for the modern Canon user this means a top of the line camera with your own top of the line EF glass to go with it. No need to buy new lenses!
When you inserted the film, close the camera back for autoloading. Want to rewind your film? That can be done fully automatic because of the built-in motor.
